About The Role
An exciting immediate start role with a industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. Taking a hands-on approach, this Senior Financial Accountant's position will assist the month-end, year-end and audit preparation. Initially this will be a contractual assignment, however there is the opportunity for this role to be extended.
The Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
Ideally, you will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional with a big 4/Mid tier background and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and autonomously.

The Responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);
- Alongside the Financial Controller, preparation of consolidation reporting for all group entities
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, half-year and year-end closing process as per Group timetable;
- Assist with year-end audit process with external auditors and any other external or internal stakeholder requirements.
- Perform critical and key balance sheet reconciliation on behalf of the financial controller
- Review the monthly and quarterly reconciliation of GL accounts
- Oversee technical review of all journals before and after posting
- Other ad hoc accounting duties as required.
