Marketing Specialist at Tyro Health
At Tyro Health, we are passionate about improving the healthcare experience, with a specific focus on payments. Our products make it easier for healthcare providers to get paid, making healthcare more accessible for all Australians. We are rapidly expanding our capability, and so we are looking for an exceptional Marketing and Workplace Experience Specialist to join our team.
About The Role
We’re on the lookout for a proactive and versatile team player to join us in a unique role, blending Marketing and Event Management at Tyro Health. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their marketing skills in a fast-moving, purpose-driven environment.
You’ll help build brand awareness, drive lead generation, and deepen customer engagement within the health industry. You’ll get hands-on with campaign development, content creation, and partnership marketing – working closely with both internal teams and external partners to deliver meaningful, and data-informed results.
An initial focus area of the role will be leading our partnership marketing efforts, including planning and executing events, conferences, and joint partner initiatives. You'll play a vital role in strengthening partner relationships and showcasing the value Tyro Health brings to the market. Being part of a lean, agile team means you'll have the chance to stretch your skills and dive into a variety of projects – from customer marketing to digital campaigns and everything in between.
Whilst based in Melbourne, you will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.

Whilst based in Melbourne, you will be reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager.
What You'll Do
- Use a wide range of marketing strategies and techniques including but not limited to digital advertising, social media, email, events, webinars and print to engage with new and existing customers.
- Develop and execute marketing campaigns end-to-end and on budget.
- Analyse data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
- Create content that resonates with our target audience, including blog posts, website, social media, and email newsletters.
- Ability to synthesis product information to craft compelling customer value proposition.
- Collaborate with the Partnerships team to deliver and optimise marketing initiatives across Tyro Health’s partner network.
- Improve advocacy and experience by building strong relations with partners through key joint initiatives, execution of go-to-market plans and value exchange programs across our partner network.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, optimise and execute marketing initiatives – an understanding of heavily regulated industries is an advantage.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in marketing.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing role.
- Tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience in the financial services industry is highly regarded.
- Event management experience is preferred.
- Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- A problem-solving attitude with a proactive approach to challenges.
- A test-and-learn mentality, embracing data and insights to drive results.
- Experience with platforms such as WordPress, HubSpot, Salesforce, and Marketo is highly regarded.
- Experience with collaboration tools such as Slack, Jira and Confluence is advantageous.
- Familiarity with marketing analytics and reporting tools is a plus.
- Highly organised with strong planning skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
