- Cloud Operations Administrator
- Initial Contract until June 2026 with possibility for extensions
- Adelaide Based Role with 2 days WFH per week
Key Responsibilities
- Apply technical expertise to maintain and optimise technology infrastructure, executing updates and employing automation tools.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain Azure solutions (compute, storage, networking, and security) using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Manage storage solutions ensuring redundancy and backup integrity.
- Configure tools and/or creates scripts to automate infrastructure tasks. Maintain operational procedures and check that they are followed, including adherence to security policies. Use infrastructure management tools to monitor load, performance, and security metrics.
- Manage and maintain the Databricks platform, ensuring optimal performance and security across workspaces, clusters, and jobs.
- Investigate and enable the resolution of operational and security-related issues. Provides reports and proposals for improvement to stakeholders.
- Contributes to the planning, installation, maintenance and acceptance of new and updated infrastructure components and infrastructure-based services. Aligns to service expectations, security requirements and other quality standards.
- Management and monitoring of billing.
- Provide tier 2/3 technical support.
- Experience with system administration with a strong focus on Azure and Microsoft 365.
- Proficiency in Entra ID, RBAC, and identity access management.
- Hands-on experience with Azure networking and storage management.
- Experience with IaC and IaC worflows, particularly using Terraform and GitHub, coupled with PowerShell scripting skills for automation and administrative tasks.
- Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks in Azure.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
