Reporting to the Managing Director, the Site Manager is a member of the Senior Operations Leadership team and is critical in delivering the site operations and is responsible for all activities associated with the movement and storage of goods within a high-volume autonomous facility. This role will oversee a broad diverse team as well as managing and improving the operations and efficiencies of the site.

Main Duties:

• Operational management of a high volume fast paced site.
• Financial and performance delivery.
• Collaboration with Project Team on site expansions.
• Resource the site and resources.
• Plan and use physical resources (financial, premises, capital equipment, supplies and materials) effectively and efficiently.
• Ensure financial targets are met, including setting and agreeing budgets and regular monitoring of performance against budget.
• Manage the operation to meet customer requirements and continuously improve performance.
• Ensuring properly functioning warehouse teams, efficient planning of personnel and equipment.
• Monitor and report on KPI's and ensure that all employees strive to achieve high service levels as a priority.
• Maintaining contacts with clients, other businesses in the area, government authorities, temporary employment agencies
• Provide clear, consistent and appropriate communication on the warehouse on progress and issues to be resolved.
• Develop and implement policies for using energy and recycling effectively.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Degree and or relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Management (preferred but not essential)
• 5 years leadership experience in a large sized manufacturing/warehouse and supply chain management
• Reporting and financial management P&L responsibility
• Strong commercial acumen including business development
• Experience managing site performance and KPI management
• High levels of customer focus and compliance to SLA's
• Environmental, Health and Safety compliance
• Automation experience (desired but not essential)
