Digital Lead

Simple is an internationally recognised and awarded full service marketing agency based on King William Road. We hold a particular strength in digital, having been trusted to deliver many of the state’s highest profile websites — from the Royal Adelaide Hospital’s to Rundle Mall’s.

As digital lead you will play a key role within an experienced digital team at one of Adelaide’s leading full service agencies. We’re after someone who will bring their experience and relish in the opportunity to manage and deliver medium to large website projects, across a diverse portfolio of industries including Government, private enterprise and NGOs.

This role puts you in a unique position, working with a cross-functional and established team of professionals, to affect real change through excellence in digital service delivery.

Requirements

• 5+ years project management experience in a digital agency
• Excellent knowledge of software development practices
• Experience leading a team of digital developers
• Demonstrated ability to deliver quality digital solutions
• Exceptional knowledge of digital strategy, design, and technology
• Manage project timelines, client expectations and project delivery
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, including planning, estimating and resource allocation
• Leading and working closely with Developers to deliver to scope and confirm technical opportunities/limitations
• Work with clients to gather, define and formalise project scope including facilitating workshops
• Liaising closely with other digital team members, account service, creatives, and internal stakeholders
• Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-digital savvy stakeholders
• Mentoring junior staff in development, debugging and business processes as required
• Providing technical design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex applications and solutions to meet business and customer needs

• Knowledge of using JIRA to plan and manage projects
• Experience with Craft CMS and plugin development
• Experience with Tailwind CSS
• Experience with PHP frameworks
• Experience with React
• Experience with ES6
• Experience with devops / automation (CI/CD)
• Experience with Node.js
• Experience with Git version control
• Experience using AWS and CI/CD tools
• Understanding of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines
