What You’ll Do
- Provide a safe, nurturing home for local children and young people in need
- Offer emotional support, guidance, and care as they flourish in your household
- Work collaboratively with social workers, educators, and healthcare professionals to follow each child's care plan
- Fostering Together Communities: Be part of one of eight local fostering communities designed to reduce isolation and share experiences (Fostering with Bexley)
- Tailored Support & Mentorship: Get matched with experienced carers to guide you through day‑to‑day fostering
- Specialist Streams: Opportunities to foster babies, teenagers, parent‑and‑child, or provide emergency care
- Friendly Peer Support: Connect through coffee mornings, forums, and social events to build camaraderie and resilience
- Generous fostering allowances to support you financially
- Comprehensive training: ongoing development to enhance your skills and confidence
- 24/7 professional backup: social workers and out of hours always just a call away
- Well-being first: dedicated effort to support and value carers across their journey
