We are seeking a skilled and experienced individual to lead our local high performing team as a Vice President covering Enterprise sales within APAC, based from Sydney.
As the VP of Sales, you will play a critical role in leading and expanding our sales efforts across the region. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute regional sales strategies, drive revenue growth, and oversee a team of Individual contributors and Managers. This position will report directly to remote VP Sales MEA/APJ
Key responsibilities
This is a key regional role within a fast-paced channel first environment based from our regional headquarters in Singapore. You’ll be hands-on with your direct reports & Management levels and will leverage your existing relationships to drive revenue whilst supporting new business growth. Your key deliverables will include:
Drive revenue growth:
- Ownership of your team’s sales pipeline and you’ll actively pursue opportunities to drive revenue growth, meeting and exceeding your team’s target,
- Developing and maintaining relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Collaborating with the wider team to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and expanding business with existing customers,
- Strategic customer engagement, planning & growth
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any issues promptly.
Team management and leadership:
- Building, developing, and leading a high-performing regional sales teams,
- Recruiting and retaining top talent, provide training,mentoring, coaching, and setting clear performance expectations across individual contributors and 1st line Managment
- Building a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Collaboration with other regions and departments:
- Working closely with other sales leaders to align strategies and share best practices,
- Collaborating with SDR, channel, marketing, product, CSM and operations teams to ensure alignment of regional sales efforts.
Sales forecasting and reporting:
- Maintain accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics,
- Presenting data and insights to the leadership team, highlighting key trends, opportunities, and challenges,
- Making data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
Qualifications and experience
We welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate a proven track record of success in vendor sales leadership roles across the the ANZ region. You’ll ideally have Strong leadership experience, have exposure within the cybersecurity industry and will combine this with a previously strong track record as an individual contributor.
You might currently be at a Senior Director level and looking for exceptional career growth opportunities.
The ideal candidate will likely have:
- Several years of Enterprise Software / SaaS direct sales experience, including significant vendor experience. You’ll have in-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods,
- Previous leadership experience as a 1st line manager, you will be experienced in recruiting, motivating, developing and retaining high-performing sales talent to build strong and diverse teams,
- Strong knowledge of the cybersecurity landscape, including channel partners, solutions, and competitor landscape,
- Demonstrated experience in achieving sales targets, and driving revenue growth,
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills,
- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and market insights to drive informed decision-making,
- Strong business acumen and understanding of financial metrics related to sales performance,
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally with other departments and regions.
