The Role:

We are seeking a strategic Supply & Demand Planner to join our dynamic Supply & Demand team in Sydney. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our demand forecasting and supply planning efforts, ensuring optimal inventory levels and exceptional customer service for our Travel Essentials and Duty-Free business units.

What You’ll Do:

Develop accurate demand forecasts over a rolling 6-month horizon, leveraging historical data, market trends, and business insights.

Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, and Operations teams to integrate promotions, new product launches, and seasonal trends into the forecast.
Manage and optimize inventory replenishment, minimizing excess inventory and obsolescence while maintaining high stock availability.
Establish effective supply plans that align with demand forecasts, supplier lead times, and distribution constraints.
Monitor and enhance supplier performance, inventory KPIs, and forecast accuracy, conducting root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions.

Propose and support initiatives to streamline the supply chain, enhance stock availability, and optimize inventory.

Qualifications and Experience:
3-5 years of experience in Demand Forecasting and Inventory Planning in a large, fast-paced, high-volume retail environment.
Proficiency in Business Central, SAP, or other ERP systems, as well as advanced Supply Chain Planning tools (e.g., Blue Yonder, RELEX, SAP IBP).
Strong analytical skills, with expertise in inventory management and advanced Excel proficiency.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration across diverse teams.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
