About The Role

At Origin, we’re passionate about helping businesses electrify their operations and move towards a net zero future. As a Customer Project Manager – EV Charging, you’ll lead the charge (literally!) in delivering electric vehicle infrastructure projects across Australia.

From large-scale commercial installations for customers to rolling out solutions for government clients, you’ll oversee a diverse portfolio project, ranging from quick turnarounds to complex, multi-site rollouts!

You’ll take end-to-end ownership of customer EV charging installations including implementation of Load Management System, from kick-off to handover, ensuring everything runs on time, on budget, and in line with Origin’s quality and safety standards. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing customer expectations, contracts, timeframes, and budgets.
  • Leading with strong project documentation, scheduling, and risk management.
  • Coordinating with internal teams (engineering, operations, design) and external partners (installers, developers, consultants).
  • Conducting site visits on a monthly basis (mostly metro with some regional travel).
  • Overseeing live construction sites and brownfield projects.


What will you bring?

We’re seeking someone who thrives in a fast-moving, technically complex environment, with a passion for sustainable infrastructure and an ability to juggle multiple projects with finesse.

You’ll need:

  • Experience managing active construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building services or electrical works, ideally within the energy sector.
  • Confidence in managing installers, customers, and technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with MS Project (Procore will be great to have).
  • A valid White Card and driver’s license are essential.


Bonus points if you bring experience in:

  • EV charging, electrical installation, solar PV, battery storage, or similar systems.
  • Delivering brownfield or active construction projects across multiple sites.
