As an Assistant in Nursing (AIN) working in a rehab department at Sydney Adventist Hospital, you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their recovery journey. Under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse, you will provide safe and compassionate, person-centred care aligned with each patient's individual care plan. Your responsibilities will include assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, and therapeutic exercises designed to promote independence and improve function during rehabilitation.

We Have Two Role Types Available
- Permanent part time - 30 hours per week - Monday to Friday - morning shifts
- Casual - covering mainly weekend shifts
Who We’re Looking For
- You’ll hold a Certificate III in Health Services Assistance or Certificate III in Individual Support.
- You’ll have the availability to work 30 hours per week Mon - Fri for morning shifts OR casual weekend shifts.
- You’ll bring experience in providing direct care, ideally within a hospital, aged care, or rehabilitation setting.
- You’ll demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, a compassionate approach, and a commitment to teamwork.
- You’ll have an interest in nursing best practice with an understanding of policies to ensure confidentiality, dignity, respect and the rights of patients are upheld.
- You’ll have unrestricted Australian working rights to work 30+ hours per week .
