Your exceptional communication skills and natural sales ability will drive revenue through strategic up-selling and suggestive selling techniques. An organised and systematic approach to reservations management, coupled with your meticulous attention to detail, will ensure every booking is handled with precision and care.
We're seeking a dynamic leader who can effortlessly supervise reservation operations while maintaining the highest standards of guest service. You'll coordinate with multiple departments, manage third-party distribution channels, and ensure our property management system is optimised. Your local knowledge will shine as you assist guests with recommendations, while your analytical skills will be crucial in monitoring occupancy rates and preparing reports. You're not just processing bookings; you're crafting the first impression of the Hotel X experience.
WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?
Working as the Reservations Supervisor, you are encouraged to bring your unique personality and perspective (your X factor). Reporting through to the Front Office Manager, you will work collaboratively with Front Office, Sales and Finance teams. This role requires flexibility to work rotating shifts and conduct team briefings in the absence of management.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE!
We're seeking individuals with a diploma or degree in hotel management from a recognised institute, plus a minimum of 2 years hotel working experience. Demonstrated expertise with OPERA Point of Sales system is essential, along with strong knowledge of rate management and OTA channel operations. Your reservations experience, combined with exceptional written and verbal communication skills, will ensure seamless correspondence and guest interactions. Knowledge of the local area to provide guest recommendations is essential, and your ability to work under pressure while maintaining accuracy will set you apart.
