What's the role?

The Head of Commercial Partnerships Editors is a pivotal leadership role at News Corp Australia, responsible for driving the national commercial strategy and delivering impactful, revenue-generating content initiatives. This role sits at the heart of where commercial ambition meets editorial integrity—leading the development and execution of campaigns that enhance audience engagement, strengthen market positioning, and support long-term business goals.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, commercial teams, and editorial leads across the country, you will lead a high-performing team to evolve the Commercial, Partnerships, and Events (CPE) function. Your ability to connect big-picture strategy with hands-on delivery will ensure our commercial content not only tells compelling stories, but also delivers real business outcomes.

What’s the role?

  • Lead the development and execution of the national commercial strategy, driving revenue growth and aligning activities with broader enterprise objectives.
  • Establish performance targets and refine strategies based on market dynamics and organizational changes.
  • Drive a culture of high performance and continuous improvement within the Commercial, Partnerships, and Events (CPE) team.
  • Manage complex stakeholder relationships and represent commercial interests at senior forums.
  • Develop and implement content strategies that optimize revenue opportunities and audience engagement.
  • Commission, curate, and edit content across various themes, ensuring consistency and brand messaging.
  • Utilize data insights to refine strategies and maximize ROI across content and campaign activities.

  • You excel in stakeholder management, fostering collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
  • Your proficiency in content management systems and data analytics tools drives strategic improvements in content performance
  • You possess excellent communication and editing skills, with a keen understanding of journalism and advertising regulations.
  • You thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and are willing to travel as required for project demands and interstate collaborations.
