About the role:

The Entity Manager oversees a small portfolio of Commonwealth Entities, driving client satisfaction through effective delivery of contractual requirements as outlined in the Whole of Australian Government (WoAG) Deed. This role operates autonomously while receiving guidance and oversight from an Entity Relationship Director.

Main Duties:

  • Client Portfolio Leadership: Establish vision and strategy for the client portfolio, ensuring exceptional service delivery while maintaining deep understanding of client's business needs and industry factors.
  • Service Delivery Management: Accountable for meeting JLL's contractual obligations, achieving performance indicators, managing change control processes, and driving client-specific initiatives including savings targets and best practices.
  • Team Leadership: Promote a culture of teamwork and excellence, support talent development, provide regular coaching, implement succession planning, and maintain high staff morale.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proactively engage with stakeholders across multiple organizational levels, serving as the key point of contact for client agencies within the portfolio.
  • Financial Performance: Responsible for meeting agreed financial targets including revenue, expenses, debtor targets, and identifying cross-selling opportunities for JLL products and services.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Maintain duty of care to ensure workplace safety, protecting own health and safety as well as that of colleagues and visitors while adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Quality & Operational Excellence: Develop standard operating procedures, implement continuous improvement practices, ensure Critical Environment requirements are met, and provide 24/7 emergency support.
  • Risk Management: Implement and maintain JLL Operational Risk Management program, disaster recovery plans, business continuity procedures, and proper incident escalation protocols.
  • Compliance: Adhere to JLL's business conduct by ensuring compliance with firm guidelines, procedures, and strategies across all aspects of the role.
  • Conflict of Interest Management: Effectively manage all potential, perceived, or actual conflicts of interest according to client-endorsed processes, including prompt notification and full disclosure.

Sounds Exciting? This is what we are looking for:

  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in facilities management, building, business, or other related field &/or 5+ years’ experience in contract/relationship management, facilities, property management or related field
  • Managing teams and client account management to ensure services are delivered in accordance with contractual requirements
  • Experience in handling client sensitivities, knowing when to escalate with urgency and how to de-escalate key risks
  • Demonstrated experience in balancing the interests of the clients with those of JLL
  • Significant experience in translating client needs into existing or new business growth
  • Strong working knowledge of key Commonwealth Government Legislation, Policies and Procedures, e.g. PGPA Act, Commonwealth Procurement Rules (CPR’s), Commonwealth Property Management Framework and Asset Management Frameworks
  • Ability to obtain and hold an AGSVA Clearance and or any additional associated Entity clearances.
  • Must be an Australian Citizen.
