As a Reservations Team Leader, you’ll be the first connection in a guest’s journey — ensuring every detail of their booking is seamless, professional, and personal. From FIT to group bookings, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable moments before guests even arrive.
This role blends service, systems, and precision — perfect for someone who’s confident working independently, loves the detail, and enjoys collaboration across departments.
The Reservations Team Leader performs an important role in delivery of commercial results, guest love, and operational effectiveness. Supporting the Director of Sales and Marketing and the Portfolio Revenue Manager in yielding inventory responsibilities and hotel inventory management through effective management of the reservations department.
Your Day-to-Day:
- Manage guest and group booking enquiries with accuracy and care
- Maintain rate loading, market segmentation, and inventory balance daily
- Monitor and action pending HOTSOS tasks to support operational flow
- Ensure corporate, FIT, and wholesale rates are accurate across all systems
- Stay informed on hotel offers, restaurant hours, and event space requirements
- Liaise with Sales, Front Office, and Housekeeping for smooth guest experiences
- Support the annual rate audit process with insights and data accuracy
- Share best practices and assist in training team members when required
What You’ll Bring:
- Warm, guest-first approach and a professional phone manner
- Strong computer literacy (Opera, Concerto, HOTSOS, Microsoft Office)
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Comfortable working solo and collaboratively across departments
- A proactive mindset and commitment to high service standards
- At least 3 years of experience within Front Office or Reservations
- Legal right to work in Australia
