We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join our client's team. In this role, you'll lead multi-disciplinary design teams to deliver accurate, and timely engineering solutions. You will ensure safety is prioritised through compliance with Safety in Design processes, oversee quality assurance of design deliverables, manage project timelines and budgets, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimise design outcomes. Your leadership will drive innovation, continuous improvement, and effective communication across teams and clients to support sustainable water infrastructure delivery.

Key Requirements

· Develop and implement design delivery plans, ensuring milestones and project expectations are clearly communicated and met.

· Manage project timelines and budgets, monitoring and reporting on extensions of time and cost variations, ensuring alignment with approved agreements.

· Collaborate with Engineering Delivery, Studies, and Solutions teams to develop accurate scopes of work, cost estimates, and work breakdown structures.

· Ensure all designs comply with relevant technical standards and guidelines.

· Provide effective design solutions that meet internal and external customer needs in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
