We’re recruiting an experienced Maintenance Planner to support fixed plant operations in Newcastle on a 12-month contract. This is a local role only, ideal for a candidate based in the Newcastle region.
You’ll use SAP to manage the planning, scheduling, and coordination of maintenance work for fixed plant assets. This role requires a confident planner with strong communication skills and hands-on SAP PM experience in a site-based or heavy industrial setting.

- Plan and schedule fixed plant maintenance using SAP
- Coordinate labour, parts, and access for upcoming jobs
- Maintain job packs, task lists, and work order documentation
- Collaborate with operations and engineering for schedule alignment
- Monitor backlog, break-in work, and shutdown readiness
- Support continuous improvement in planning accuracy and plant availability
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Planner (fixed plant focus)
- Strong SAP PM skills — work orders, task lists, schedule building
- Organised and able to prioritise across weekly and shutdown planning
- Excellent communication and coordination skills
- Must have the right to work in Australia
