BusinessAI is seeking its first commercial hire — a highly capable, proactive Venture Analyst (Commercial) to join the founding team. This is a unique opportunity for an individual who excels in early-stage environments and is ready to transition from strategy to execution. You’ll work directly with the CEO to shape BusinessAI’s go-to-market engine, validate commercial models, engage with customers, and build the operational infrastructure needed to scale.

This isn’t a back-office analyst role — you’ll be in the trenches, working across strategy, product-market fit, financial modelling, growth, operations, and customer support. You’ll turn insights into execution and ideas into outcomes. If you’re a former consultant, operator, or strategist ready to roll up your sleeves and build, this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

Market & Financial Analysis

  • Conduct research on verticals, competitors, and adjacent trends.
  • Build financial and pricing models to inform business decisions and investor readiness.
  • Develop insights into market size, target verticals, ideal customer profile (ICP), unit economics, and go-to-market (GTM) strategy.

Product-Market Fit & Commercial Validation

  • Design and execute structured discovery with customers and ICPs.
  • Identify pain points, triggers, and buying signals.
  • Co-create MVP positioning, value props, and pricing tests with the CEO.
  • Engage directly with customers during early discovery, onboarding, and feedback loops.

Go-to-Market Strategy & Execution

  • Launch early GTM campaigns, including waitlists, landing pages, and outreach flows.
  • Own and iterate on messaging pillars, targeting, and acquisition funnels.
  • Track CAC, conversion, early activation and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Participate in customer-facing interactions to support early growth and adoption.

Operations & Infrastructure

  • Collaborate with the technical and customer-facing teams to establish the internal tech stack.
  • Build operational rhythms, project trackers, and internal dashboards.
  • Maintain the documentation layer: playbooks, FAQs, research logs, and updates.
  • Support and manage internal and external workflows that touch the customer lifecycle.

Execution & Stakeholder Management

  • Work directly with the CEO to align on priorities and execute cross-functional projects.
  • Participate in select investor and advisor meetings and manage follow-up actions.
  • Prepare key updates and strategic summaries.

Ideal Candidate

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in strategy consulting, venture building, or early-stage operating roles.
  • Master’s degree or similar relevant qualification.
  • A proactive generalist with sharp analytical and communication skills.
  • Experienced in market research, financial modelling, and cross-functional delivery.
  • Commercially minded, curious about AI, and motivated to solve real business problems.
  • Thrives in ambiguity — can create structure, act fast, and think ahead.
  • Comfortable in customer-facing roles and passionate about delivering value throughout the customer journey.

Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, with opportunities for future growth and equity participation.

Interested candidates should demonstrate strong ownership, cross-functional execution skills, and a passion for working with a customer base of business owners, building new ventures and driving AI innovation.
