What We Offer
Downer’s Energy & Utilities business is seeking qualified and experienced Painter Blaster’s to join us for a shutdown in Tom Price, WA. This role will see you responsible for preparing and protecting steel structures, piping, and fixed plant equipment through abrasive blasting and the application of protective coatings. This includes tasks such as grit or sandblasting to remove rust, scale, or old coatings, followed by applying primers and industrial-grade paint systems to meet corrosion protection standards. The successful candidates will also join our talent pools to be used in future works across remote and regional WA.

What We Offer
- FIFO Shutdown from Perth to Tom Price
- Competitive Rate - $57.39 (flat including casual loading)
- Roster - 12-hour shifts working Days & Nights
- Scope – 1st August to 22nd August
- Nightshift Allowance - 15% uplift

About You
- Construction Induction / White Card
- Gas Test Atmospheres, Working at Heights, and Enter and Work in Confined Spaces within 2 years
- Fire Certificate within 4 years
- Prior experience in a FIFO role
- Trade Certificate – Highly desirable
- Current RTIO Inductions are highly desirable
