Responsibilities

  • End-to-end project management from planning through to completion
  • Development of project scopes, budgets, schedules, and risk registers
  • Design and procurement management, including preparation and review of RFQ/RFT documentation
  • Coordination of approvals and stakeholder engagement plans
  • Administration of construction contracts under standard forms (e.g. AS2124, AS4000)
  • Preparation of project documentation including status reports, briefs, and funding reports
  • Oversight of site activities including inspections, compliance checks, and defect management

Qualifications

  • Registered Professional Engineer of Queensland (RPEQ) - mandatory
  • Minimum 10 years of experience managing multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects
  • Strong understanding of Queensland statutory and local government frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills including stakeholder engagement and report writing
  • Experience with contract administration, technical consultant coordination, and design management
  • Proficiency with project management tools and systems such as MS Project, and document control platforms
