Link Wentworth offers staff:
- Full Time position (38 hours/week)
- 3-year contract
- Office based in Chatswood with occasional travel between Link Wentworth offices in metro Sydney
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in successful delivery of customer-centric IT system implementations.
The role reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer and forms part of Link Wentworth’s Senior Management Team. The role has two direct reports (Manager, IT & Data and Program Manager) and will manage a team of external IT delivery consultants.
Key Areas Of Responsibility Include
- Lead the delivery of Link Wentworth’s enterprise transformation program, including the replacement of IT and digital systems and associated people and process change. Oversee the business-as-usual project management function for minor projects.
- Provide strategic leadership of IT and digital initiatives, developing and executing strategies aligned with business goals. Establish governance frameworks ensuring compliance, security and risk management, while driving innovation through emerging technologies.
- Design and implement robust cybersecurity strategies and risk management frameworks. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and oversee disaster recovery, incident response, and business continuity planning.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and cost-efficiency of IT infrastructure and software systems. Manage internal service delivery, enterprise architecture, IT change controls, and external service providers, while ensuring compliance with legal, audit, and control obligations.
- Develop and implement enterprise data strategies and governance frameworks that support improved decision-making and operational efficiency. Manage IT, data, and transformation budgets to optimise costs while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Tertiary Qualification in Computer Science or Information Technology or related
- Extensive operational leadership experience in customer-driven IT, Data and business transformation programs
- Demonstrated capabilities in strategy development, governance and implementation of IT and data strategy, including cybersecurity
- At least 10 years’ experience in relevant or similar roles
- A commitment to Link Wentworth’s values of Customer Focus, Respect, Integrity, Compassion & Ambition
- A customer service ethos
- An ability to drive successful integration of internal cross-functional teams and external consultants on major change programs
- An ability to think strategically
- Strong sense of accountability for operational performance and change outcomes
- A valid National Police Check (less than six (6) months old) to the satisfaction of Link Wentworth, to be renewed every five (5) years or earlier as reasonably required by Link Wentworth
- Willingness to comply with vaccination requirements imposed by Link Wentworth, including COVID-19 and other vaccinations, as determined by the organisation in accordance with current Government health advice, mandates, or directions
- Willingness to be office-based five (5) days per week
