Connect, Learn & Grow with Aspire

At Aspire, we’re proud of the safe, supportive and people-first culture we’ve built — and when our team members need us most, we show up.

As our Return to Work Coordinator, you’ll be the trusted guide and advocate for team members recovering from injury or illness. You’ll play a key role in ensuring they feel heard, supported, and empowered to return to work safely and sustainably.

You’ll work across our 30 centres, supporting over 1,200 employees, and be part of our passionate People & Talent team. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where no two days look the same — one day you might be meeting with a team member onsite, and the next you’ll be collaborating with leaders and People Partners to shape best practice across our network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the nominated contact for all workplace injuries, supporting both work-related and non-work-related cases, including pregnancy-related work adjustments
  • Manage workers compensation claims end-to-end, ensuring all documentation is accurate, compliant, and submitted on time
  • Identify suitable duties and develop tailored return to work plans in line with medical advice and operational needs
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders including DXC (our insurer), injury management consultants, treating professionals, occupational rehabilitation providers, Aspire leadership, and the Quality & Compliance (OHS) team
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and confidential records for all injury management activities
  • Conduct risk assessments, with a focus on psychosocial and mental health considerations
  • Monitor claims data and premiums to identify trends, reduce risks, and drive continuous improvement

  • Hold a current WorkSafe approved Return to Work Coordinator qualification
  • Proven experience in injury management and return to work coordination
  • Strong understanding of Victorian workers compensation legislation and best practice case management
  • Empathetic and clear communicator, skilled at supporting employees and coaching managers through sensitive situations
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills
  • Confident working independently and collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
  • Full driver’s licence and willingness to travel regularly across Aspire centres in Victoria
  • Allied Health background (e.g., physiotherapy, osteopathy) and knowledge of NSW and WA injury management legislation are highly regarded but not essential
