Position Purpose

Key Responsibilities
Role: Security Officer – Level 2
Location: Geelong, VIC
We are seeking dedicated and professional Security Officers to support safety in our healthcare environments. In this role, you will:
Monitor healthcare premises and ensure a safe environment
Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and effectively
Manage access control and enforce visitor policies
Provide high-level customer service with empathy and respect
Maintain accurate incident reports and uphold confidentiality
Collaborate with hospital staff to support patient care and security
Qualification
Essential Requirements
Current Victorian Security Licence (Certificate II minimum)
Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage conflict and maintain professionalism under pressure
Australian/New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency
Previous experience in healthcare security or public service roles is an advantage
