We are currently seeking an Accounts Clerk to join our very busy and highly varied Accounts department based in Southport. This role would be suitable for someone with previous administration/accounts/data entry experience or someone currently studying Accounting looking to apply their knowledge in practice. Due to the nature of this busy role, a positive attitude with a hands-on approach is required.

What The Role Briefly Entails

  • Deal Processing functions: end to end responsibility over allocated brands, processing deals in timely manner
  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to investigate or advise any discrepancies in accounts
  • Maintenance/distribution of a high-volume emails
  • General journals
  • Manufacturer payment/warranty allocations
  • Raise accurate Finance & Insurance invoices as requested in reasonable timeframe
  • Complete the daily floorplan payouts with multiple Financiers
  • Allocation of various financier and other debtors payments
  • Completion of certain balance sheet reconciliations
  • Working within team to complete month end deadlines/goals
  • Franchise related tasks and queries as required
  • Ad-hoc administration duties
  • Provide general support to our Accounts department as required

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience in an accounts department preferred
  • Automotive Dealership background not essential, but desirable
  • An ability to adapt to a fast paced work environment
  • Strong communication skills both within a department and with stakeholders in the broader Group
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Data entry Skills
  • Intermediate Excel skills
