The Salary range is $35.44 per hour. Hourly rate based on experience.

Join Our Team as a Hospitality Team Leader

We’re looking for a Hospitality Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Palms Aged Care Service in Ingham. In this role, you’ll lead and coordinate hospitality services including catering, cleaning, and laundry, ensuring high standards of care and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Coordinate and participate in meal preparation and presentation, ensuring dietary needs are met.
  • Maintain kitchen, laundry, and cleaning equipment to regulatory standards.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, and invoice approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with Accreditation Standards and support continuous improvement.
  • Lead and support a team of hospitality staff and volunteers.
  • Promote a culture of safety, quality, and client-focused service.

What You’ll Bring

  • Chef trade qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of catering, cleaning, and laundry procedures, including texture-modified meals and thickened fluids.
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and accreditation standards (including Food Safety).
  • Basic computer skills (Outlook, Internet Explorer).
  • Leadership and team management experience.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Essential Requirements

  • A current National Police Certificate, flu vaccination – or willingness to obtain.
