About the role

To support the Manager Foundation in the coordination, support and successful delivery of RACQ Foundation Community Grants Program as well as the Community Assistance Program and Foundation – centre community and corporate events.


Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the implementation of the foundation’s approved grant applications and assistance projects.
  • Processing application rounds through SmartyGrants platform, and delivery of new grant initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external service providers, partners and community organisations to maximise project delivery outcomes and foundation awareness.
  • Proactively cultivate relationships with key industry bodies, government agencies and other NGOs to raise awareness of the foundations purpose and role in the community.
  • Contribute to raising member, organisational and staff awareness of the foundations purpose and programs.
  • Contribute to the preparation of board and senior management reporting on foundation activities and funding.
  • Processing invoices, booking travel and credit card reconciliation.
  • Preparing and compiling documentation including briefs, project schedules, itineraries and post event reports.

About you:

  • At least 2-5 years relevant experience across event or project management
  • Strong and proven planning and organisational ability, particularly in the coordination and delivery of corporate and large-scale public events.
  • Ability to prioritise workloads, follow through on tasks and meet deadlines to effect smoothly coordinated and execute grants
  • Problem-solving skill
  • Superior MS Office skills
  • High level of interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work outside normal business hours
