  • Initial Contract until June 2026 with possibility for extensions
  • Adelaide Based Role with 2 days work from home per week

This role requires a Tester with a strong automation testing focus to support our client’s growing program.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate with business analysts and subject matter experts to define, understand and document business requirements.
  • Design, code and document complex automated test programs and scripts from agreed specifications, using agreed standards and tools, delivering well-engineered results.
  • Identify and manage risks that are likely to affect delivery of system releases.
  • Develop estimates of effort and duration for development tasks, monitor own progress and continually improve estimating accuracy.
  • Report on progress, anomalies, risks and issues associated with allocated development tasks.
  • Contribute technical expertise to requirements analysis to enhance the quality of solution design and to improving solution processes within the organisation.

Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience an Automated Test Developer.
  • Knowledge of automated testing of data storage systems such as Azure Databricks, DB2, SQL, Unix scripting, software configuration management; and automation tools such as SVN, Bamboo and Crucible.
  • Experience using JIRA in an agile environment.
  • Automated testing platforms like cypress or selenium.
  • CICD Pipeline experience, incorporating automated tests and record of results Knowledge of APIs and related API, SOAP, CXF, JSON etc.
  • Relevant qualification or enough experience in ICT, IT or related discipline.
