Location: Port Melbourne or Milton
Duration: Casual
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Hours: Flexible, Monday to Friday business hours
The role
- Training will be provided
- Accounts Receivable:
- Apply customer payments against debtor accounts in the general ledger, ensuing cash is correctly applied
- Resolving any AR related discrepancies.
- Reporting on aged receivables.
- Reconcile AR GL balance to aged A/R report
- Preparing weekly cheque list for banking.
- Banking:
- Daily bank reconciliation, ensure no long unreconciled balances and transactions exist
- Compile customer refunds for approval and payment
- Project related tasks:
- Assist the external auditors and finance team in the completion of the Global and local Statutory audits
- Assist ERP and POS system transition project
- Other ADHOC process improvement
What we are looking for
- Currently studying Finance or Accounting
- Advanced MS Excel skills and proficiency in other MS Office programs are essential.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- An effective communicator who is not afraid to ask questions, challenge processes, and seek guidance when needed
