Multiskilled Labourer - Operator

Mackay Regional Council is currently seeking a Multiskilled Labourer/Operator for the Civil Operations team at the Paget Depot.

About this opportunity:

The role involves performing labouring duties and operating plant and truck equipment for maintenance and construction of roads, drainage assets, and other civil infrastructure under the supervision of a Supervisor or Leading Hand.

Essential Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Experience in and knowledge of construction and maintenance techniques related to road works and drainage works.
• Ability to work effectively within a team or independently.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing high-level client service.
• Current General Construction Safety "White" Card.
• Current QLD Manual Car 'C' Class Open Driver’s Licence.
• Current QLD Heavy Rigid Truck 'HR' Class Licence or the ability to obtain it.
• Traffic Controllers Ticket.
• Experience in operating ride-on equipment and light mechanical plant.
