Pattern is expanding and we are looking for an experienced Ecommerce Manager to join our Australia team to support the scaling of the business by driving the performance of the brands we represent on Amazon and other Marketplaces. In this role, you will own the relationship and financial performance of a portfolio of global brands managing their performance across marketplaces
You will support the Associate Director with defining and implementing the growth and profitability plan for your portfolio of brands by working cross-functionally with Operations, Content, Advertising, Creative, Merchandising and Finance. You will also lead cross-functional projects to implement processes to scale the organization
You will be a strategic and commercial ecommerce professional who can engage partners and internal stakeholders towards a common goal. You will have a growth mindset and love navigating the challenges of working in fast changing landscapes
This is a full-time role and will work a hybrid schedule based in Melbourne, Australia

- Drive revenue growth across Amazon and other marketplaces using a data-led approach, delivering against budget through smart planning, seasonal activity, NPD launches, and high-performing ad campaigns
- Build and execute strategic joint business plans with brand partners to grow share and deliver mutually beneficial outcomes
- Deliver best-in-class marketplace execution, including SEO-optimised content, A+ pages, localised copy, and targeted advertising
- Analyse performance regularly across multiple data sources to identify opportunities, address issues, and drive continuous optimisation
- Manage inventory and demand planning to ensure strong in-stock positions and sales continuity
- Act as the main point of contact for your client portfolio, building strong relationships and clearly communicating progress, risks, and results
- Lead multiple projects simultaneously, using strong project management skills to deliver work on time and to a high standard
- Prioritise effectively across brands and tasks, focusing on activities with the greatest commercial impact
- Solve problems proactively – whether operational, strategic or technical – using initiative, resourcefulness and collaboration
- Continuously improve how we work, identifying ways to streamline, automate and scale account management processes.
- Demonstrated success in managing an eCommerce business
- 2-3 years’ experience in an eCommerce or digital marketing role
- Amazon marketplace experience highly regarded, but not essential
- Bachelor’s degree with solid academic performance (Distinction or equivalent GPA)
- Strong skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets – confident in working with formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
- Confident presenter with the ability to distil complex ideas into clear, compelling updates and recommendations
- Creative thinker and proactive problem solver
- Highly organised and disciplined with excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
