About The Role
We’re seeking a commercially savvy and tactical Pricing Analyst to join our Finance team and play a pivotal role in driving profitability, shaping pricing strategy, and delivering meaningful business impact.
Reporting to the Finance Lead, you will collaborate closely with the Business Development and Operations teams to develop pricing models, execute price adjustments, and influence rate cards and approvals. You will provide insightful analytics that align with strategic pricing and profitability goals, ensuring our commercial decisions are both effective and sustainable.
Working cross-functionally, you will deliver tactical pricing recommendations through cost modelling, margin calculation, tender support, and competitive benchmarking to help drive growth and improve customer value. You will also stay up to date with market trends and competitor movements to ensure our pricing remains responsive, competitive, and commercially sound.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pricing analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
- Create regular reports and develop dynamic pricing dashboards.
- Build and maintain cost models and margin calculations to support pricing strategy.
- Conduct scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis for key pricing decisions.
- Benchmark pricing structures against competitors and market conditions.
- Monitor industry developments, competitor pricing strategies, and market trends to inform internal pricing direction.
- Review and refine strategies to ensure pricing remains competitive and profitable.
- Support pricing for tenders, proposals, and renewals alongside the Business Development team.
- Oversee customer portfolio performance and uncover growth and optimisation opportunities.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to provide data-driven insights that influence key decisions.
- Provide sales teams with tools, frameworks, and insights around pricing structures and profitability expectations.
- Advise on pricing principles, including systems and procedures to ensure consistent execution and pricing accuracy.
- Partner with internal teams such as Operations and Business Development to align pricing with business goals.
- Build and maintain CRM rate cards and manage approvals workflows.
- Review financial elements of customer contracts and ensure correct implementation.
- Foster strong internal and external stakeholder relationships to enable effective communication and strategic alignment.
- Ensure compliance with internal pricing policies and procedures.
- Implement tools and controls to monitor pricing performance and contractual impact.
- Contribute pricing insights into forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning.
- Champion continuous improvement across pricing, finance, and commercial operations.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 3 + years of experience in a Pricing Analyst position, particularly in logistics, transportation, or tech-enabled industries.
- Proven experience utilising Excel, Power BI or similar dashboarding tools.
- A commercial mindset with strong analytical and modelling capabilities.
- Comfortable working with cross-functional teams and presenting insights to stakeholders.
- Experience with CRM systems is advantageous.
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities.
