Join Cement Australia as a Business Support Officer and play a pivotal role in our national supply chain. Based at our Townsville terminal, you'll coordinate rail logistics across multiple states, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of our products. This Monday to Friday, office-hours position offers the chance to work closely with internal teams and external partners, managing everything from scheduling and stock levels to maintenance planning and reporting. Your Opportunity
- Coordinate rail bookings and delivery schedules, working with providers to reduce costs and avoid disruptions.
- Collaborate with road logistics to align multi-modal deliveries and manage ISO equipment returns.
- Maintain data accuracy in SAP and daily reporting systems to support billing and decision-making.
- Monitor stock at terminals and railheads to meet demand forecasts.
- Raise and manage purchase orders and support movement of fly ash, sand and exports
- 2+ years of experience in manufacturing or logistics, with rail industry experience highly regarded.
- Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Completion of secondary education.
