5 DAY NANNY EDUCATOR (15800) GLEBE

Rate: $38.76 - $41.38 (L3) per hour including Tax and Super (costs associated with Insurance & Workcover are taken care of by the Employer, who will also process your Tax and Super payments on your behalf)

5 days per week with a child aged 7 years

Monday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Tuesday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Wednesday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Thursday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm
Friday: 3:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Not Flex with days - School holidays will be full time from 9am to 6pm. During school term the hours will be from 3:00 to 9:00pm

This family would like:
We are seeking a patient, gentle, and observant Educator who can support a 7-year-old child. The Educator would need to collaborate with the family on daily routines and individualized learning goals.
The ideal Educator will either have experience with, or be willing to learn about, non-verbal communication tools such as Proloquo2Go. The child’s interest/activities include puzzles, reading, writing, and other quiet table time.
Supervise and accompany the child on short outdoor runs twice a day, with mindfulness and presence during all outdoor activities. The child needs to be helped with toileting and hygiene routines.
Support the child during bedtime routines with a calm and consistent approach. The family would like a Chinese speaking Educator but not essential. • Have obtained or are working towards your Certificate/Diploma in Early Childhood Education & Care OR have a Bachelor teaching degree (early years or primary) and registered with the teaching authority board of the relevant state
• Be an experienced child care worker with at least 3 professional references.
• Have WWCC, Police Check, CPR and Level 2 First Aid
• Have a car & driver's licence
• Be willing to commit for at least 12 months
