The Opportunity -

The AH-64E Apache is the world's most advanced and proven attack helicopter. It integrates innovative technologies to aid the crew in decision making, offering a new level of battlefield dominance through enhanced performance, increased situational awareness, superior survivability, and improved target detection, acquisition and engagement.

We are seeking a Project Administrator, to support the AH-64E Apachehelicopter program. The Australian Apaches will join the growing global fleet of more than 1280 aircraft operating in 18 countries, including coalition and regional partners.

This role is based in Townsville working alongside the Army customer.

We are looking for an Administrator that has excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Strong organisational and planning skills and experience. You are someone who is comfortable working both autonomously and participating collaboratively across teams. We are looking for someone who is proactive and approachable and will relish becoming a valuable member of the team.

As the Project Administrator your duties will include the following:

  • General project reporting requirements: report preparation and distribution
  • Co-ordinate and arrange meetings for the Program and various teams
  • Attendance at customer meetings: Preparation of agenda/minutes and tracking decisions and actions
  • Arrange and support events and visitors including team events
  • General office duties including incoming and outgoing mail, stationery and other activities to keep the office running
  • Become the 'go-to' person for support across the team
  • Manage and coordinate access to various systems and tools across the business
  • Support the onsite EHS Manager with administration
  • Coordinate health monitoring tests (e.g. hearing as required)
  • Coordinate and manage the on-boarding experience for new employees
  • Training coordination for teammates to undertake Boeing and/or Defence training
  • Assist with travel arrangements including bookings and credit card reconciliation
  • Support procurement activities for office and warehouse consumables
  • Security administrative duties: enable personnel compliance with Boeing and Defence requirements
  • Coordination with IT
  • Support Facilities works requests and maintenance servicing schedules

About you

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • 3 - 5 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate IV in Business Administration (highly desirable).

You have excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You have strong organisational and planning skills and experience. You are someone who is comfortable working both autonomously and participating collaboratively across teams. You will be proactive and approachable and will relish becoming a valuable member of the team.
