Troocoo is excited to be partnering with a prominent research-focused organisation in the search for a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join their communications team on a temporary basis. This is a hands-on, varied role suited to someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, has strong visual design skills, and enjoys working collaboratively across multiple teams.

Reporting to the Events Manager and working closely the wider marketing and comms team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging visual communications across digital, print, and web platforms. You’ll be part of a small but high-impact team, playing a critical role in the organisation’s brand execution, marketing initiatives, and internal and external communications.

About The Role
Reporting to the Events Manager and working closely the wider marketing and comms team, you will be responsible for delivering engaging visual communications across digital, print, and web platforms. You’ll be part of a small but high-impact team, playing a critical role in the organisation’s brand execution, marketing initiatives, and internal and external communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop visually engaging collateral including presentations, flyers, e-marketing materials, newsletters, and social content.
- Design creative assets for digital channels including social media, email campaigns, and website updates.
- Develop print collateral such as brochures, flyers, presentations, newsletters, banners and posters.
- Maintain brand consistency across all design projects.
- Manage multiple projects to meet deadlines while consistently delivering high-quality work, and provide friendly, responsive customer service to internal stakeholders, partners, event attendees, and suppliers.
- Assist with event delivery as needed, including signage, registration support, and occasional photography.
- Proven experience as a graphic designer across both print and digital mediums.
- Experience with design tools including Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Canva, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience using platforms such as Vision6 (or similar email marketing tools), and familiarity with website content management systems (e.g. WordPress).
- Ability to design for a range of platforms including brochures, presentations, social media, intranet, and web content.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; able to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
- A collaborative team player who communicates clearly and works well with stakeholders at all levels.
- Immediate start available.
- Up to 4-month temporary contract, with potential for extension or permanency depending on organisational requirements.
- Brisbane-based role, with the option for 1 day of remote work per week.
