We’re looking for a reliable and detail-focused APO Clerk to join our team. This role provides important support to the Postmaster and helps keep the Army Post Office (APO) running smoothly. You’ll handle tasks like sorting mail, processing outgoing items, and making sure postal rules are followed.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Sort and deliver incoming mail (personal and official)
- Check outgoing mail for correct postage, address, and labels
- Collect and process mail from drop boxes
- Bundle and label mail for delivery
- Keep records and ensure mail is sent on time
- Redirect and forward mail as needed
- Handle postage stock and APO finances
- Follow postal rules for U.S. and international mail
- Provide general admin support during APO hours
- Make sure all work follows OASIS policies and procedures
- Help with other duties as requested by the Postmaster or Support Services Manager
- Managing stock levels and handling cash
- Ensuring a positive experience for customers
- Following correct steps for handling customer requests
Technical:
- Confident using Microsoft Word and Excel
- Comfortable working at a front desk and providing customer service
- Works safely and professionally
- Communicates clearly
- Can work independently and as part of a team
- Follows our Code of Conduct and company policies
- Presents professionally to customers and staff
- Can take the lead when needed
- Good at organizing work and sharing tasks with others
- Reports To: Postmaster
- May Work Closely With: On-Site Service Manager, Logistics Team, Custodial, Maintenance Support, HLS
Required:
- Cash handling experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Experience with SAP
- Certificate or diploma in Management
- Background in postal services, logistics, or similar field
- Able to lift up to 70 lbs (32 kg)
- Able to stand for up to 4 hours
