Service Stream’s Maintenance division are currently seeking a Civil Maintenance worker to join our growing company.

About The Role

Service Stream’s Utilities Division are currently seeking a Sewer Civil Maintenance Worker to join our team in Dandenong South. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation of Jet Trucks and or Civil works. The job Offered on a permanent, full-time basis this role is the perfect opportunity for the right candidate to support a 10 year contract that commences in October 2022.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Dandenong

Reporting Line: Civil Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for the following

  • Ensuring all works are performed as directed in a competent and safe manner.
  • Carrying out labour tasks/field work unsupervised, including planned and preventative maintenance and reducing repeat blockages.
  • Undertake and participate in job and plant hazard identification and incident notifications.
  • Attendance and active involvement in team meetings and toolbox meetings.
  • Lead and/or assist in the completion of a job through mobile field computing and/or paperwork.
  • Operating and maintaining maintenance requirements of plant, tools and equipment.

About You

To be successful in this role you would ideally possess the following

Qualifications

  • Current Victorian Drivers License.
  • First Aid Level 1
  • White Card
  • Heavy Rigid (HR) License
  • Traffic Control

Experience

  • Experience working in a similar maintenance or construction role in water, drainage, or sewer.
  • Jetting and clearing of retic and branch sewers. Recommended.
  • Knowledge of Water Industry infrastructure and asset management systems an advantage.
