Your tasks


  • Working as part of the Application Engineering team this role will act as a bridge between customers and internal stakeholders. You will be required to perform the following duties that are necessary for your Position, as varied from time to time
  • Excel in Technical Support lead roles
  • Use Synergies in Asia Pacific and WW R&S network
  • Excel in technical presales and post-sales support.
  • Share of application knowledge within R&S organizations worldwide
  • Analyze customer requirements
  • Provide technical consultancy, benchmarking and customer trainings
  • Provide training to customers and RSAUS AE
  • Analyze market demands for application developments
  • Provide customer hotline support
  • Develop strong links with Application and Sales Engineers in the region and Market Segment team.
  • Develop deep knowledge for R&S instruments and their applications
  • Know the latest technology trends in the related application area

Your Qualifications


  • Degree in Electrical / Computer science/ Electronic Engineering or Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in cellular device testing and field testing/certification.
  • Prior experience in device testing and certification with strong RF and protocol knowledge in cellular technologies 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G.
  • Field testing experience cellular communication.
  • Solid general RF knowledge
  • SW programming knowledge (Python / C++ / MATLAB )
  • Excellent log analysis and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good technical writing skills
  • Ability to present issue and technical root cause analysis.
  • A complete understanding of the company’s spectrum and wireless communication solutions
