Where the team fits in
The Senior Product Designer is a member of the Design team which partners with Product and Engineering teams across the business create amazing products and experiences for our consumers and customers.
Your role involves reshaping product interfaces and elevating their overall experience. Leveraging our design system, principles, and playbook, you will be directly involved in the design process, working towards the vision for your portfolio.
What The Role Is All About
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and execute product strategies.
- Utilise your understanding of business opportunities, user needs, and technical constraints to design competitive products that enhance user satisfaction and drive business growth.
- Mentor and guide Associate Product Designers & Product Designers, ensuring delivery of user-centred design solutions.
- Plan, prioritise, and manage design activities with a lean mindset, facilitating project delivery.
- Apply best practices in design to create and visually communicate compelling experiences in alignment with overall company vision.
- Engage in problem-solving and continuous improvement, using a solutions-focused approach in an agile, fast-paced environment.
- Conduct comprehensive research, leveraging qualitative and quantitative methods, to uncover user needs and analyse product performance.
- Deliver high-quality products and features using systems thinking, adhering to visual identity and design system guidelines.
- Lead design critiques and promote Design Thinking across the teams.
- Monitor the market to keep a close eye on our competitors - seeking design, technology and real estate trends to make impactful decisions
- You have at least five years of experience in product design using industry-standard tools and best practices
- You're adept at thriving in agile, fast-paced environments, and approach challenges with a solutions-focused mindset
- You excel in crafting compelling visual and strategic visions, fostering a collaborative design culture that aligns with product and business goals
- You have an experimentation mindset, working through ambiguity to have impact at scale
- Your strength in building partnerships, growing high-performing teams, and providing mentorship to designers is noteworthy
