What You’ll Do
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Front-end Drupal Developer and Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Drupal 9/10, proficiency in Nginx configuration, AWS cloud services, and strong experience in unit testing. This role involves developing, managing, and optimizing Drupal-based applications while ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
This role requires baseline cleared Australian citizens with high preference to those holding an active NV1 clearance. Resource should also be amenable to work on rotational on-call support.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal-based applications.
Administer and optimize Drupal configurations for performance and security.
Configure and manage Nginx for Drupal hosting, including caching and load balancing.
Deploy and manage Drupal applications on AWS Cloud using services such as EC2, S3, RDS, and CloudFront.
Understanding of CDN solutions to enhance content delivery and site performance.
Perform unit testing and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
Implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Drupal, Nginx, and AWS infrastructure.
Collaborate with front-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with best practices in security, scalability, and performance tuning.
Maintain and update Drupal modules, themes, and core components.
Here’s What You Need
Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in Drupal development and administration.
Strong knowledge of Drupal 9/10, including custom module development.
Experience with Nginx for reverse proxy, caching, and server optimization.
Proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, Lambda, etc.).
Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks such as PHPUnit, Behat, or similar.
Familiarity with DevOps tools like Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or Ansible.
Strong experience in Git-based version control and CI/CD pipelines.
Understanding of security best practices for Drupal and web applications.
Experience with database management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MariaDB).
Ability to write efficient, clean, and maintainable code following coding standards.
Security Clearance Requirement Given the secure nature of this role, we are seeking candidates who are Australian Citizens with an active security clearance or are eligible for obtaining security clearance. This requirement ensures that all team members are cleared to handle sensitive information and contribute to maintaining the highest standards of security in our operations.
On-call and Shift Expectations This position is primarily focused on managed services, meaning you will be responsible for maintaining and improving our clients' IT systems (Applications and Infrastructure). Flexibility and adaptability are key, as you may be required to work in shifts to provide continuous support. Additionally, you may need to be on call to address incidents promptly and perform after-hours deployment activities as needed. Your ability to effectively manage these responsibilities will be crucial to ensuring the seamless operation of our services and client satisfaction
