We need industry stirrer-uppers


You know: non-conformers. Those who are compelled to do something different. Who care enough about the customer to ask the big questions no one else will. Who want to know what if. What if we tweaked this, or toggled that. You zig when everyone else zags, disagree without being disagreeable, and love the rush of starting something new.



Specifically, a Senior Digital Product Owner not boxed in by job title

Th is role will take ownership of the mobile app experience, where you'll be at the centre of how customers interact with our bank, every day. You will shape a seamless, intuitive and high-performing mobile experience that delivers real value- across both personal and small business banking journeys. This is a strategic role, with the opportunity to transform how customers complete their everyday banking activities.

Working closely with product and service owners (including Onboarding, Payments, Customer Service, Financial Crime), you'll guide how new features are brought to life in the app, ensuring they're not just functional, but feel effortless and connected. Your leadership will ensure the app continues to evolve with purpose, without losing its simplicity or coherence - driving customer satisfaction, trust, and long-term engagement.

What we've done is quite unique: launching a new mobile App that is powered by the SDK's of credible technology provider: Engine. We want you to influence the SDK's of the future, but to also understand opportunities for AMP Bank GO to personalise the customer experience even further with our in-house development team!


What matters:

  • Significant experience in digital product ownership, ideally within a mobile-first business or fintech

  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution

  • You are customer-obsessed, always thinking about how to make digital experiences simpler, faster, and more valuable
  • Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams, managing backlogs, sprints, and roadmaps. You will run our Small Change squad: identifying, prioritising and delivering small but mighty changes to the App to make our customers' experiences even better

  • You are an influencer, working closely with our technology partners to influence the future roadmap of features
  • You are a collaborator, working with our service and product owners to ensure a cohesive experience for our customers
  • You are constantly curious- we want people to challenge the norm and consider innovative new features for customers (including the use of AI)

  • You care deeply about usability, accessibility, and intuitive design- you will drive the App education and communication frameworks- ensuring our customers are using and understanding features

  • Confident using and analysing data to inform decisions and prioritise effectively- you will need to build a reporting framework to measure App success
  • An understanding of technology SDK's is a bonus

  • Exposure to tools such as Jira, Confluence, Firebase and Adobe Analytics is a plus
  • Experience working in a regulated environment (banking, payments, insurance, or financial services preferred)

  • Exposure to small business customer needs is desirable
