The Opportunity:
As an Area Manager covering Salvos Stores in the North Brisbane area, this is your opportunity to lead and inspire a passionate retail team. You'll also work closely with Regional Managers and stakeholders to deliver on key strategic and operational objectives.
Reporting to the Regional Manager, this is a permanent, full-time position, based out of Carole Park, Queensland. Secondary locations include stores in North Brisbane area, such as Morayfield, Redcliffe and Brendale.
Key Focus Areas:
- Collaborate with the Regional Manager to set and deliver store strategies aligned with national goals.
- Lead and support store teams to meet performance targets (sales, safety, surplus, and service), including eCommerce related performance.
- Implement, drive and support relevant customer strategies within Area and stores.
- Develop, monitor, achieve and manage sales, expenditure, stock and production KPIs and surplus budgets for the Area. Continually adopt proactive cost-effective measures.
- Manage new store openings, renewals and closures.
- Ensure operational excellence and compliance across all locations.
- Drive recruitment of volunteers and employees to meet the need of the organisation.
You Will Have:
- A Diploma level qualification in Management, Business or Retail (preferred).
- Demonstrated experience and success in retail and leadership management.
- Demonstrated experience in multi-site retail management.
- Alignment with the values of integrity, respect, compassion, collaboration, and diversity.
- A valid driver's licence.
