Chief Concierge

At Hilton Adelaide, we’re looking for a Chief Concierge who can lead from the lobby and shape the guest experience through personalised, efficient, and heartfelt service. Hilton Adelaide is centrally located, overlooking Victoria Square. The hotel has 377 rooms ranging from guest rooms to the executive floor and suites. Hilton Adelaide offers unrivalled conference and events facilities comprising of 19 meeting rooms. It is the only 5-star hotel in Adelaide able to host 500 delegates to meet, eat and sleep, all under one roof.

What You'll Be Doing

As Chief Concierge, you will lead a high-performing team to deliver consistently exceptional guest service that aligns with Hilton’s service vision and values. Your key responsibilities include:

• Overseeing daily concierge, bell, and valet operations
• Greeting and supporting VIPs, long-stay guests, and visitors with warmth and efficiency
• Providing personalised recommendations on local dining, attractions, entertainment, and transport
• Handling guest enquiries, requests, and concerns promptly, using Hilton's HEART and Make it Right service recovery models
• Collaborating with the Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless experiences
• Maintaining a strong lobby presence to manage flow, queues, and guest relations
• Coaching, training, and developing the Concierge team to meet service and brand standards
• Driving revenue through transportation, tour bookings, and upselling hotel services
• Managing systems, handovers, reports, and guest records to Hilton standards
• Ensuring safety, WHS compliance, and adherence to brand protocols at all times
  
  
  

What We're Looking For

• Positive attitude and good communication skills
• Previous experience in a concierge or customer service role (hospitality or similar industry preferred)
• Excellent grooming standards
• A current, valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a variety of vehicles (manual driving experience is highly regarded)
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• A passion for providing exceptional guest service and going above and beyond for guests
• Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as needed
• Previous valet service experience is highly regarded
