We are seeking a highly skilled D365 Functional Consultant to support the design, configuration, and optimization of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) solutions. This role requires expertise in gathering and documenting functional requirements, configuring D365 applications, and working closely with stakeholders to ensure seamless system integration and business process automation. Candidates must be Australian Citizens and hold (or be eligible to obtain) a Baseline or NV1 security clearance.




Candidates can be based in Canberra, Sydney or Melbourne.




Responsibilities

  • Gather, analyze, and document functional requirements from business stakeholders to optimize D365 solutions.
  • Configure and customize Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) applications to align with business needs and integration requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design and implement integration solutions using Microsoft Azure and D365.
  • Ensure seamless data flow and process automation across enterprise systems.
  • Work with APIs and Azure services (e.g., Logic Apps, API Management, Service Bus) to facilitate integrations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users, ensuring effective system adoption and utilization.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve functional issues, optimizing system performance and user experience.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and regulatory requirements in D365 configurations and integrations.


Required Skills

  • D365 Configuration & Customization - Hands-on experience configuring and customizing Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (CE) and/or Finance & Operations (F&O) modules.
  • Functional Requirements Gathering - Expertise in eliciting and documenting business needs, workflows, and system enhancements.
  • Business Process Optimization - Strong understanding of business process automation and best practices.
  • Integration Experience - Familiarity with Azure services (Logic Apps, API Management, Power Platform) for system integrations.
  • Security & Compliance - Experience working within secure and regulated environments.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Communication - Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and collaborate with developers and end-users.


Highly Desirable

  • Microsoft Certifications - D365 (MB-300, MB-310, MB-500) and Azure certifications.
  • Experience with Power Platform - Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.


Communication Skills

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, including executives and technical teams.
