ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY


Working closely with a well-established team, the Administration Officer will play a central administration and coordination role across our site in Altona.


This position will initially be a part-time role, 3-days per week.


Key responsibilities for this position will include the following:


  • Be the first welcoming point of contact to all clients and visitors.
  • Consistently providing a high level of customer service support.
  • Accounts payable support.
  • Invoicing support.
  • Purchase order raising and cost management.
  • Ensuring all visitors entering the site have completed relevant inductions.
  • Ensuring all visitors are wearing correct PPE when entering site.
  • Data Entry and electronic filing.
  • Updating databases on a daily basis (incoming material information, soil and non-destructive digging waste, chasing up purchase orders/ job numbers).
  • Liaising with Clients and providing detailed updates.
  • Accepting deliveries to site and notifying relevant personnel.


ABOUT YOU


We are looking for an individual who can manage a range of responsibilities to ensure the smooth and professional ongoing operation of our Solve facility.


To be considered for this position you will need the following:


  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Mature minded, organised and professional demeanour.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Previous experience in a customer service/ administration role.
  • Previous experience with Jobpac would be advantageous but not essential.
  • Sound knowledge of Outlook/Microsoft Suite – word & excel.
  • A friendly, organised and professional demeanour.
