As an AI & Automation Lead, you'll spearhead the rapid delivery capability at Super Retail Group (SRG), identifying high-impact opportunities to build and deploy cutting-edge solutions that deliver immediate value.
Reporting to the GM of Data Transformation, you will work with cross-functional teams to leverage GenAI for automation, smarter reporting, and enhanced decision-making. You will partner with architecture, process, technology, and data teams to shape integrated AI and automation capabilities that redefine workflows. Furthermore, you will champion a culture of low-code automation and GenAI adoption, ensuring the business harnesses its full potential for smarter and faster operations.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- AI Capabilities: Lead experimentation, proof-of-concepts, and testing of emerging AI technologies.
- Process Optimisation & Automation: Identify opportunities to automate manual tasks and improve efficiency across the business.
- Deep Insights & Data Analysis: Identify tools and techniques to expedite secure data analysis.
- Governance: Develop and enforce governance frameworks for automation and AI, including ethical and secure deployment.
- Team Leadership: Build, lead, and manage a new team to support AI and automation delivery.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate and educate stakeholders to build awareness and adoption of AI and low-code automation tools.

In addition, you have:
- Proven experience in delivering technology solutions, with a strong focus on AI, automation, and process optimisation.
- Expertise in AI models, NLP, and large language models (LLMs).
- Strong development experience with GenAI tools and platforms (e.g., OpenAI, Azure AI, AWS AI/ML).
- Demonstrated experience with low-code automation tools.
- Retail industry experience is essential.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
