Infrastructure Solution Designer

Exciting opportunity to join one of Australia’s leading energy businesses on a 12 month rolling contract. In this Infrastructure Solution Design role, you will be responsible for consulting across a broad range of infrastructure projects, largely in the initiation and pre-delivery phase.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with the businesses to arrange scoping meetings and define solutions
• Work closely with the Architecture, Engineering & Design teams to specify effort & tasks required
• Actively scope out WOs & SOWs
• Generate documentation which specifies service estimates, delivery objectives as well as cost and duration
• Price up solutions and present them to senior business stakeholders
  
  

Key Requirements

• Experience in a broad infrastruture environment (Backup, Storage, Networks, Database, Windows, Linux, Citrix, Cloud)
• Strong ability to break down and analyse requirements (in either a Solution Design or Technical Analysis capacity)
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with the wider tech team to pull together estimates
• Demonstrated experience creating SOWs & WOs
