What You'll Do

As a Change Analyst, you will immerse yourself in a collaborative environment where your interpersonal skills will be instrumental in driving successful outcomes. Your day-to-day activities will involve building strong relationships with business groups affected by transformation initiatives, ensuring they are well-informed about upcoming changes and supported throughout the process. You will be responsible for producing high-quality documentation that underpins effective communication strategies while also contributing valuable insights during planning sessions. By engaging closely with both technical teams and end users, you will help bridge gaps in understanding and ensure that all voices are heard. Your efforts will directly contribute to smoother transitions, greater adoption of new systems or processes, and ultimately the realisation of organisational benefits. Success in this role requires empathy, attention to detail, adaptability, and a genuine commitment to helping others navigate complex changes.

  • Work collaboratively with impacted business groups to understand current systems and processes, assess proposed changes, and evaluate their effects on various teams.
  • Establish and maintain strategic networks with key stakeholders to create a supportive environment that ensures change management activities are tailored appropriately to project needs.
  • Provide comprehensive change management support by ensuring project and delivery teams fully understand the approach being taken and the benefits it brings to their people.
  • Assist in developing a wide range of change and communications artefacts such as change management plans, impact assessments, stakeholder mapping documents, procedures, knowledge resources, and other deliverables as required.
  • Engage regularly with diverse stakeholders at all levels to facilitate open communication channels and encourage collaboration throughout the change process.
  • Support the Change Manager in planning and executing change activities by acting as an effective conduit between technical delivery teams and business units.
  • Contribute to the creation of clear documentation that supports knowledge transfer and helps embed new ways of working across the organisation.
  • Participate actively in meetings, workshops, and feedback sessions designed to inform, engage, and motivate employees during periods of transition.
  • Monitor progress against change plans and provide timely updates or recommendations for adjustments based on stakeholder feedback or evolving project requirements.

What You Bring

To excel as a Change Analyst in this transformative setting, you will bring proven experience managing organisational change initiatives from inception through implementation. Your background should include supporting complex projects where clear communication and stakeholder engagement were critical to success. You possess excellent interpersonal abilities that enable you to collaborate effectively with colleagues at all levels while maintaining sensitivity to differing perspectives. Your approach is grounded in empathy; you listen carefully before responding thoughtfully. Ideally, you have worked with structured change frameworks or methodologies through your willingness to learn is equally important if not already familiar. Experience working within Agile environments or leveraging data visualisation tools adds further value but is not required. Above all else, your dependability, enthusiasm for teamwork, commitment to inclusively, and passion for helping others adapt set you apart as an ideal candidate for this rewarding position.

  • Demonstrated experience implementing end-to-end organisational change by informing, engaging, and motivating employees through periods of transition.
  • Proven track record supporting complex change initiatives within large organisations or government settings.
  • Hands-on approach when executing change strategies and delivering tangible outcomes for stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills with an emphasis on collaboration, negotiation, conflict resolution, and professional engagement across diverse audiences.
  • Experience establishing strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders from varied backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with industry-recognised change methodologies such as ADKAR or Prosci is desirable but not essential.
  • Understanding of Agile project methodologies or experience supporting change management within an Agile environment is advantageous.
  • Previous analytical or reporting experience using data visualisation tools like Power BI would be beneficial but not mandatory.
