Betashares is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to support our Senior Operations Manager and lead the successful delivery and implementation of our administration and custodian transition project for our Superannuation fund.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives on execution delivery and implementation. You will play a pivotal role in driving the transition project forward, managing external stakeholders to strict deadlines, and coordinating across internal teams.
This is a 6-month fixed-term contract, with potential to extend, and would suit someone who enjoys fast-paced, high-impact project work.
Key responsibilities include driving project delivery, leading the development of business requirements, driving process improvement and automation initiatives, and managing internal and external stakeholder coordination to ensure project milestones are achieved and outcomes delivered.

Role Responsibilities
- Take the lead in managing external and internal vendors to deliver against agreed milestones and ensure on time completion of the project scope.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines and resource allocation for project scope.
- Track and report on project progress, budget, compliance and outcomes to leadership.
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including the fund administrator and custodian, and service providers, facilitating meetings and workshops to drive alignment across delivery
- Coordinate project transition plan and tasks to ensure a seamless transition, reduce risks, and improve the member experience.
- Implement a new operating model with the administrator to help enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase member satisfaction.
- Assist with the design and implementation of an oversight model of internal and external service providers to comply with CPS230.
- Ensure compliance with APRA, ASIC and other regulatory bodies during the transition and post implementation.
- Take a lead role in the elicitation, documentation, analysis and validation of business requirements for both the exiting and incoming administrator and custodian.
- Assist with the transition of Super fund assets from self-custody to an external custodian.
- Map processes and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
- Drive continuous improvement and post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned.
- Identify and mitigate delivery and execution risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies throughout the transition project.
- Assist with the development of acceptance criteria and test plans.
- Develop and manage project documentation, including Business Requirement Documents.
- Highly developed delivery and implementation skills, problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to lead cross functional teams and manage external vendors.
- Confident to lead engagement and facilitation with a broad range of stakeholders across all levels of business.
- Strong understanding of superannuation administration platforms, process and regulatory environment.
- Ability to provide direction and guidance based on significant experience in the Superannuation administration space.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficient in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project delivery within the superannuation sector, with an emphasis on superannuation administration and administration systems.
