About The Role

Our client is seeking a talented and driven Facility Management Business Development Manager to join our team in Brisbane, QLD 4000. This full-time role will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities that align with our company's strategic objectives within the facility management industry.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Developing and executing effective sales strategies to identify, pursue and convert new business leads
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders in the facility management industry
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services to new clients
  • Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities for growth
  • Achieving and exceeding individual and team sales targets
  • Providing regular reports on sales activities and pipeline progress
  • This is a key strategic role focused on driving new business. You'll be responsible for identifying and converting new opportunities, analysing market trends, and contributing directly to the growth and success of the business. You'll also work closely with internal teams to ensure service excellence is delivered to every client.

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a business development or sales role within the facility management industry
  • Proven track record of successfully identifying, pitching and securing new business accounts
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to understand and articulate complex business solutions
  • Proficiency in using CRM and sales enablement tools
  • Adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Degree qualification in a relevant field (e.g., business, marketing, or facility management)
  • Drive new business growth across Commercial and Government markets
  • Proactively identify, pursue, and convert strategic opportunities
  • Conduct portfolio and competitor analysis to guide sales strategy
  • Maintain current intelligence on market conditions and competitor activity
  • Build, nurture, and retain strong client relationships across all levels
  • Prepare proposals, lead negotiations, and close high-value deals
  • Collaborate with delivery and technical teams to ensure client satisfaction
