Senior Project Manager

Downer Energy and Utilities is seeking a new Senior Project Manager to join our team. This role will be on an 8/6 roster commencing after the 14th July.

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver complex major projects from initiation through to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 15 years' experience in project management of large-scale infrastructure, industrial, or mining projects, with a strong commercial and contractual background.

This role requires strategic oversight of all project phases, ensuring alignment with commercial objectives, effective contract administration, and the coordination of cross-functional teams to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements

What we are looking for

• Engineering Qualification
• Minimum 15 years' experience in project management of major capital or infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial and contractual acumen with proven experience in contract negotiation, administration, and claims management
• Demonstrated experience in planning, cost control, procurement, and resource management
• Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline
• PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification (preferred)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
